Hallowed Ground

This small plant shop is truly beautiful. It’s quaint, cozy, and full of charm. The selection was gorgeous, the space felt peaceful, and I left with both plants and a smile. Highly recommend supporting this little gem.

Hallowed Ground has quickly become my top favorite local plant shop. The staff / owners are so friendly and helpful. The shop itself is just wow. Former church turned plant shop, can it be anymore magical than that? This shop started my love for begonias and caladiums but I’ve gotten a bunch of others from here as well and they’re all thriving and beautiful 🤩 I recommend this shop to everyone.

GO HERE! It's giving practical magic, walking through a fairy forest, all the nature vibes. They have a very extensive selection of plants, and at lots of different price points. You can get the same plant in mini form for 5 bucks or a medium for 25 (and there's a wide selection of little guys for $5 and $10 if you're just looking for a lil somethin). They have lovely handmade in MD accessories too, from plant stakes to hanging baskets, etc. The staff is not only polite and helpful, but they tell you a bunch of unique tips about any plants you purchase. And most of the time they have a deal worth asking about! We joined the rewards program bc we will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot! Staff was friendly and helpful, the plants are well cared for and there are a lot of different species available, as well as gifts and garden decor. It's just a gem of a place, well worth visiting. I will definitely be going back.

Hidden Gem (literally) oh but once you find it🤩. This place was awesome i came for the plants but they have some awesome plant holders, jewelry, drinks and so much more. And the history of the location, make sire you stop in when your in Ellicott city. #plants #historic
